The CCA-OCCD is active in supporting legislation that provides chiropractic services for California citizens, and opposes legislation that makes it difficult to obtain proper health care.

• CCA successfully secured amendments to the 1993 Workers' Compensation Reform Act which ensured the injured worker's right to Chiropractic care in a managed care system, the worker's right to pre-designate a personal chiropractor, parity for payment between Doctors of Chiropractic and MDs and doctors' ability to render in-office physical medicine services.
